I'm Dalin Nelson, a Los Angeles-based indie film producer, unit production manager, and photographer with work spanning narrative film, branded content, commercial production, and editorial photography. I hold a BFA in Directing from Columbia College Chicago, where I was

1 of 6 students selected for the competitive directing track.

On the production side, I specialize in the work that holds a shoot together. As a UPM and 1st AD, I've managed multi-location shoots involving SAG-AFTRA talent, stunt vehicles, animals, and tight turnarounds on both indie and corporate productions. I also led the team of the short film 2008, which earned the Audience Choice Award at NFFTY 2025.

On the photography side, I shoot with the same eye I bring to set. From vast landscapes to close-ups of politicians, my editorial and travel photography has been published in Travel + Leisure and tourism boards across the globe.
