Devil's Slide
Pacific Coast Highway, California, 2022
The Devil’s Slide is one of the most underrated spots along the Pacific Coast Highway. The 1.3 mile stretch was often closed to traffic because of rock slides and erosion. So to fix this, tunnels were built. In 2014, the San Mateo Parks Department converted the old highway into a trail that is used today by hikers and bikers alike.
